ABOUT US

Started back in 2001, IEEE-DIT has now grown into a multi-faceted chapter, empowering young engineers to enhance their skills and set up milestones in the history of IEEE NSUT. Our foremost objective is to create an environment which promotes students to learn technical knowledge, inculcate managerial skills and develop their overall personalities. We achieve this by sponsoring technical projects, providing opportunities to manage and organize events and to participate in various events and conferences at state as well as national level. IEEE-NSUT Student Branch works to create an atmosphere of technical excellence for the students. It aims at helping students in building an attitude towards applying engineering in daily life by learning ways to use the latest technology on offer.

Our vision is to

I. Foster technical initiatives and innovation among students.
II. Add to their qualifications by enabling them to learn new skills.
III. Serve as a forum for collaboration in technical projects.
IV. Equip engineers in the making with the right kind of leadership and interpersonal skills.
V. Define a vision for present and future student members to work forward

Building Foundations

IEEE-NSUT acknowledges the wide disparity in Students’ skill sets and exposure as they first enter college. We ensure all members get the optimum chance to learn.

Nurturing Talents

IEEE-NSUT conducts several workshops and engages its members in exciting projects, also provides them with an unparalleled exposure by organizing distinguished events.

Generating Outputs

Throughout the years, IEEE NSUT has consistently produced illustrious professionals, widely recognized and reputed for their contributions to different tech domains.

Coming together is a beginning;
Keeping together is progress;
Working together is success.

Elegance is not the abundance of simplicity. It is the absence of complexity.

HALL OF FAME

Adhiraj Ex-IEEE Member

"In motivating people, you've got to engage their minds and their hearts. I motivate people, I hope, by example - and perhaps by excitement, by having productive ideas to make others feel involved."

Ajay Chaudhary Ex-IEEE Member

"Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing."

Devesh Ex-IEEE Member

"Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing."

Akshay Ex-IEEE Member

Looking for an amalgamation of technology blended with a plethora of innovative ideas; then greetings monsieur your search has ended- this is the IEEE Computer Society. Of the 38 technical societies organized under the IEEE, the Computer Society is the largest and one of the most prominent one. It owes its importance to the scope and purpose of which it came into existence- ‘to advance the theory, practice, and application of computer and information processing science and technology’ and the professional standing of its members. It supports more than 200 chapters worldwide and participates in educational activities at all levels of the profession, including distance learning, accreditation of higher education programs in computer science, and professional certification in software engineering. The society is also a member organization of the Federation of Enterprise Architecture Professional Organizations (FEAPO), a renowned forum to standardize, professionalize, and otherwise advance the discipline of Enterprise Architecture. In 2010 the Computer Society introduced Special Technical Communities (STCs) as a new way for members to develop communities focussing on selected technical areas ,namely broadening participation, cloud computing, education, eGov, haptics, multicore, operating systems, smart grids, social networking, sustainable computing, systems engineering and wearable and ubiquitous technologies

WIE Chapter

IEEE-NSUT

IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) is the largest international professional organization dedicated to promoting women engineers and scientists and inspiring girls around the world to follow their academic interests to a career in engineering. India viewed as a potential powerhouse of innovations, is no exception. The fact, that, institutes of scientific learning are open to all the citizens of a country, but potential females still do not come up and hesitate at the thresholds of laboratories. IEEE has, thus, taken a step forth to help promote all the women across the globe with IEEE Women In Engineering. IEEE WIE NSUT Chapter is a relatively new yet very active WIE chapter.The core team of NSUT IEEE WIE consists of both females and male IEEE members and all the members take genuine interest in working for and developing the section.The name may mislead, but WIE is open to male members as well. Mission and Scope of IEEE WIE : The mission of IEEE WIE is to facilitate the global recruitment and retention of women in technical disciplines. IEEE WIE envisions a vibrant community of IEEE women and men collectively using their diverse talents to innovate for the benefit of humanity.
